Knee pain and arthritis - What to do in knee pain and arthritis

Does knee pain or swelling or inflammation of the knee mean arthritis?  In fact, arthritis is not a single disease.  Researchers claim that there are currently more than 100 types of arthritis for knee pain, based on two studies at 2013 and 2016.

According to the Journal of the American Medical Association, there are more than 10 million arthritis patients in the United States alone.  Joint pain and arthritis are named according to their type, such as osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, gout, infection arthritis, juvenile arthritis, etc.

The National Health Society has also linked conditions such as ankylosing spondylitis, cervical spondylosis, fibromyalgia to arthritis.  Arthritis is blamed for one of the leading causes of disability in America.  Children, young and old, can suffer from this disease in their lifetime;  However, this is four times more likely for women than men.

Disease, causes and cure:

1. Normal knee (Stage-I): No pain or other problems.

2. Minor arthritis (Stage-II or Minor osteoarthritis): Very few newly formed bone fractures, the joint space becomes less and cartilage is reduced by 10 percent.  There is no pain in the knee at this stage.

Treatment: changing physiotherapy and lifestyle (such as losing weight, eating healthier foods, etc.), so that the arterial changes can be controlled quickly.  No need for drugs or injections.  It is important to remember that it is very important to protect the joints from repeated injuries.  Regular physiotherapy should be continued to maintain a physiotherapy session, even if only about 5 percent benefit.

 3. Mild arthritis (Stage-III or Mild osteoarthritis): The above symptoms will be slightly higher, Joint stiffness decreases, especially in the morning;  Often walking, walking up and down the stairs, lifting weights and folding your knees, you will experience pain.  Treatment: Physiotherapy and lifestyle modification.  No need for too much pain or no medication or injections if needed.

 4. Moderate arthritis (Stage-iv or Moderate osteoarthritis): The above problem is exacerbated.  There is frequent pain and the severity of the pain increases, synovial fluid or joint juice is damaged and the joint can swell.

Medical: The above treatment.  Many times, many go for surgery, but it has no long-term benefits, rather it produces various symptoms.

5. Acute Arthritis (Stage-v or Severe Osteoarthritis): The above symptoms continue to increase and the joints' performance decreases significantly.  60 percent or more cartilage is lost.  Treatment: According to the above rules, physiotherapy should be taken for treatment and medicine or injection.  If the pain and other problems cannot be alleviated, surgery should be decided.  Physiotherapy should be taken for proper rehabilitation even after surgery.

Physiotherapy is one of the most advanced and beneficial treatments for the elderly of the knee.  It has no side effects.
